Hi, I'm Brianna Irvin. I started Irvin Planning because I think small Kansas communities deserve the same quality of planning help the big cities get, from someone who understands how a small town actually runs.

I'm not from here originally, but Kansas is where I chose to build my life. I earned my Bachelor's in Public Administration at Fort Hays State University, and an internship at the Kansas House of Representatives showed me how much good policy can do for the communities that make up this state. That led me to the University of Kansas, where I completed my Master's in Urban Planning. While I was in school, I served on the Planning Commission in my own town of Tonganoxie, which is where I learned that the real work of planning happens at the local level, in front of neighbors you'll see at the grocery store the next day.

Today I live in Tonganoxie with my family and serve as secretary on the board of First City Forward, a Leavenworth nonprofit focused on land use. I work with communities across the region to plan for growth, housing, and infrastructure in ways they can afford and residents can get behind.
